Nothing is planned as far I know in this company. If you want to change your simulator, just try something else...
You'll find more companies like Laminar Research (X-Plane), Lockheed Martin (Prepar3D), Ikarus (AeroflyFS)...
Never say never but never. Closest thing to FS11 is perhaps Prepar3D V1.4 but I don't want to get started on a debate on that!

Looks pretty specific to me and not broad at all.
Please note that the word "entertainment" NEVER appears.
Also please note that the Developers Licence DOES NOT contain the word "entertainment" either.
I don't see P3D ever becoming a general use platform for flight sim.
