    Default Excbuilders issue with Windows 7?

    I tried to install excbuilders in my Windows 7. It doesn't work.

    Are you using a 32bit Win7 or a 64bit Win7?

    How do I know 32 bit or 64 bit coming from? Where should I click at to tell me if it is 32 or 64.

    Click on the start button and type in System Information in the search box and when that shows up in the window above click on it and info on your computer will show, and beside system type it will read x64-based PC if it is a 64 bit OS.
    Intel i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad Core, Asus P8Z 68-V LE MB, GTX 560 TI 1GB DDR5 graphics card, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, 8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 ram , Viewsonic VX2233WM LCD 1080P HD Monitor. Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 64MB Sata3 HD, 650 watt Corsair PSU

    Since this is a brand new computer Stuart - it is almost certainly 64-bit.

    But do check as mentioned above.

    There are some favorite older programs which take some special tricks to make work on 64-bit, and some you will have to give up using.

    Do yourself a favor and do not install ExcBuilder in either Program Files folder.

    Create a new folder in you root drive, C:\Scenery Tools, and put any of your old programs like ExcBuilder in there.

    Life will be much simpler if you do.
