I think I misread your original post.
FS9 only has 4 views (not counting Top Down) and the only one with an altitude component is Spot View.
As you cycle through the views using the "S" key the camera location for Spot View should not change, at least it never has for me.
Are you saying this is not what you see in the sim?
Your post kinda reads to me that when you set the Spot View at 50 feet above the plane you want the camera location to be 50 feet above the plane in the Virtual Cockpit view also. There is no way to do that globally.
The settings for Spot View altitude and distance are saved in the saved flight files. Any time you load a saved flight you should see the values for those parameters that were in effect when you saved that flight.
Any time you load a new plane those values will reset. For me the altitude value seems to reset to +3 feet. I have not found a way to change that.
The Spot View camera distance resets to the value defined by the aircraft radius. That way you are not too close to a 747, nor too far away from a Cub. That value can be changed, though changing it will affect parking assignments.
