the value 0.0 will eliminate p-factor both on the ground and in flight (a help on takeoff!). The // was 1.0 will be ignored but serve as a reminder about what you did.

I tried this in FS9 with the Just Flight Tiger Moth. It had no effect; the plane still pulls badly to the left and can only be flown on autopilot .

My joystick is very old and does not have settings for a rudder null zone. In fact, it doesn't have a rudder axis.

    Any other tips?

Without a rudder axis (either peds or twist stick) you must have autorudder enabled in FS Realism I think which ties the rudder to your ailerons. With that you give up any opposing control of aileron and rudder.

Your null zone for aileron then affects the variability of your return to center on your stick. What do you show in using the gaming options sliders as seen in your Win control panel.

Try just a small amount of right roll on your aileron to see how much effect on countering that left pulling it has. Does the moth have any rudder or aileron trim controls? If so, see what the take-off settings are.

Buy a new joystick, it may or may not solve your current problem ,but its a good idea anyway if yours is ancient as you describe.
You don't have to pay a fortune ,I use the Thrustmaster Hotas X (works for fs9 as well) its by far the best joystick in this price range (£30) that I have used.

I realize that my lack of rudder controls is a problem that has a detrimental affect on the realism of Flight Sim. Instead of a new joystick, I'm getting rudder pedals.

To solve the left pull of the Tiger Moth, I copied the Aircraft.cfg file from Warwick Carter's Tiger Moth, keeping the original contact points, brakes, and eyepoint and, of course, making sure I copied the [fltsim.xx] portions of the Just Flight file. Problem solved. It flies as straight as an arrow, but a few knots slower than a real DH.82c.
