Thread: trying to find a another boeing 787 other than Camsims version

  1. Default trying to find a another boeing 787 other than Camsims version

Can some one out there please tell me if there is a freeware Boeing 787 that was made by someone other than Camsim? the Camsim planes are ok but they just dont seem to have the same visual impact as the posky planes, and a few others out there. Dont get me wrong they are nice but when you look up close to them they just lose all the details. I would love to have the new 787 with the new/old colors. I really like the orange/red colors of the 747-8f buf I also like the origional three blue colors that was the hallmark house colors for boeing for many years. I just cant afford to pay $29-$50 for a boxed version. any help would be greatly appreciated. Believe me I understand most of the people who dedicate the time and effort that are put into these models is way more work than most people think. I do know . So for that I give all you programers a standing ovation for the work you do. please keep it up. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR WORK. SINCERELY ERNIE WEBEER. KEEP UP THE FANTASITC WONK.

    Agree 100%

Have totally avoided B787 because just can't find on that suits my needs. Project Airbus has set the standard for freeware as far as i'm concerned. Anything less just won't do. If anyone can come up with anything I'm all ears. (or eyes)

Well, I know of one that's a work in progress. Hiroshi Igami was part of Project Opensky and is now a part of SkySpirit 2012. He was one of POSKY's main model designers. He is now working on the Boeing 787 as his next project. It's not out yet, but it looks to be well underway. I've been watching the progress closely as I'm very interested in having a decent 787. CamSim is just very basic. The new one is the same standard, if not better than Project Opensky's other models. It looks amazing! I dunno when it'll be finished but I'll be waiting eagerly for it!

I see the 787 is going to be the most flown aircraft in the FS

Well, you said free... yep, I say the same as TCX559K. Look on the website (if you can't speak/translate japanese, click here):

Oh, by the way, you shouldn't buy the Dreamliner of a well known payware company, it got very bad reviews...
I know you said you want freeware, but I want to say that so all people here can read it.
    Best Regards

    Now get me a glider.

I haven't heard of them ever getting good reviews to be honest.
