Thread: Auto_spoiler

    Question Auto_spoiler

I noticed in all of me fsx aircraft.cfg files there is a auto_spoiler_available = 1 entry. I also noticed that this entry is NOT in any of my FS9 .cfg's. Is this entry important? I was thinking of commenting it out to see if the autospoiler feature still works. I think it will? Thanks Scott

Try setting it to =0 and see what happens. I'll bet it disables the auto spoiler.

    OK.. this is weird...
I tried to "comment out" the "auto_spoiler_available" line.

Then FSX added it again! When I looked at the CFG, I had a new "auto_spoiler_available" line!! FSX put it right back in!

If FSX says the line should be there by default, who am I to argue..LOL

I tried to set it to 0 and 1 and that did not work and I still can't get the spoilers to activate when touching down in the POSKY 757-200W.

I also noticed that my "spoilerons_available" line was set to "0"??? Maybe this affects the activation of the spoilers somehow?
