Thank you very much for all the replies. Its good to know that my work was worth something.
Hey Adam,
You have to get used to nobody replying...Your shots are great and just look at how many people viewed them. I post my FLIGHT screenshots in quite a few places, even one place where nobody ever replies or even views them. In fact I always post my FS9 shots there as well...nobody ever looks at them or replies but then it is a dead site and I'm the only one that posts there anymore...I find it quite a useful INDEX because when I go there ALL my screenshots are there with no other posts between them.
Bear in mind that you and I are two of the very few people that actually like FLIGHT and it is no longer being developed by MS...I see that it is in many ways the very best Flight Simulator that I have ever had (note that I did not say Game). I will continue to use it at least until I have landed at every SPB and airfield in Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands and that make take a year or two...I still keep my very large FS9 and go back to it now and again but I just love flying in FLIGHT and can't get enough of it.
So I urge you to continue to use FLIGHT and work with the extra challenge of making screenshots when it is all LIVE and there are no Replay facilities. Plenty of people will look at them and like them, even if they say nothing![]()
I didn't realize you posted screen shots in this post. It's titled flight? I think their nice shots by the way. Something more descriptive then flight might get peoples attention.

Yeah...That make you another of the "VERY FEW PEOPLE" and I'm glad to hear it...What a pity there were so few of us. If a reasonable number of people had enthused about it, they might not have dumped it. And yes, I agree with your phrase "best feeling of flight on a monitor". I guess you know what real flying really looks like...I have come to conclusion that most of the moaners about FLIGHT have never actually flown for real and just think they know what it should look like.
I am another enthusiast. I realize that there is little hope of much 3rd party development, yet I seem content with what we have. Not entirely satisfied but enough exist to enjoy it. One addon I strongly suggest is Fswidgets. They make a free GPS addon for flight. That allows you to use FSX,FS9 or whatever FS flight planner to make a flight plan. Then that flight plan is imported into their program called gmap. That gmap will display your route over any google map and your position. You can purchas aviation maps such as sectionals for Alaska from them for only $10 that will show terrain nav radio feq, airspace, etc. This can all be displayed on a tablet, another monitor, or on your main display. I am not trying to plug for them but in the flight world of few addons this one is a must.

It's funny how when someone mentions something it brings back memories. Although I don't have a PPL I have clocked up a few hours doing real flying. And I remember at the time, because I was probably flying one version of FSX or another, familiarisation with the instruments wasn't a problem. Getting that 'feeling' of flight was. However after a while your head plays tricks on you, and you put up with what you can get.
Flight offers me that 'feeling' instantly, because my memories of the real thing may be telling me "you remember this!"
You had the wrong guy heading up the Flight project. They were so determined to make it a game that even in the end while we all hoped for better they were yet again firing up another cockpitless bird. Dumb doesn't even discrib the stupidity of what they were trying to do with the sim. It's such a jagged little pill knowing that on one hand this effort had the most potential of anything ever release and on the other hand a dummy was running the project. It hurts to think about it. I'll continue to enjoy it as well but what a shame this turning out to be...
