No more sun

Hey mates...something strange is happening, can't see the sun anymore. I have light, daylight...all looks normal, but the sun is simply nowhere. When I "look" towards the spot where the sun should be, I get that "blinding"...fuzzy...white...bright thing that you normally get when you "look" towards the sun, but the sun is missing. I looked in Texture folder, all the necessary bmp's are there...Some time ago I had a problem with the buildings, the buildings wouldn't show up...could this sun-problem be related to the building problem?...I don't think I can resist much more...one day I'll blow up.. put an end to this never-ending chain of defects that come as a gift from MICROSOFT. Thanks guys!

UPDATE:
I have a saved flight, with a VC-10 by David Maltby if it matters, if I load that flight, everything's OK...I can change the plane, go to another airport from the manu...all works fine. But if I start the sim..normally, the problem reappears. It's driving me nuts..

Sounds to me like you have a problem with some other add-on scenery you have installed that is causing the problem. Have you intalled very many since the sun appeared normally?

If there aren't too many, maybe you should try and deselect them all, check if things have returned to normal and then select them again (one-by-one) until the problem appears. Once you have tracked down the source of the problem just delete that scenery add-on.

If doing this still doesn't resolve the problem then you might have to examine all of the elements of the add-ons since the problem began. You should pay specific attention to the TEXTURE .bmp files, look for anything that might have to do with the sun.

Thanks for help, greatly appreciated, I solved it (I HOPE IT WON'T REAPPEAR) just reset FS to it's defaults...that's it, now all works fine.
