Is it possible to change 4:3 display to 16:9 display in FSX?

Certainly. In the display options you choose the display resolution of your monitor. Note that a lot of wide screen computer monitors are 16:10, rather than 16:9 (mine's 1680x1050), but 1920x1080 (for example) is available too.

It is recommended that you run your FSX resolution at your monitor's native resolution if you have a flat-screen monitor.
