SQH S2 Tracker Launch

Just downloaded the SQH S2 Tracker and can.t seem to get her to launch from the deck. No launch bar or takeoff assist. Are they supposed to work with this A/C ? Landing on the deck is not a problem. Just the launch. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

What speed are you getting as you come off the cat? Isn't it a great airplane?

Skyspin, you're right this is a great a/c. Cat speeds on launch are about 139 kias on the default carriers and about 153 kias on the aicarriers2 addon.

I love this plane but I cannot get the: in [talhook] section aircraft.cfg

to work. Get error message not allowing to add to the CFG.file, Says: make sure that the path and file name are correct. Would like to be able to launch rather that unassisted takeoffs at prayful 80 knots. My landings are good. for suggestions or help, Thanks in advance.

Skyspin, I too had a bit of a problem. Where it says in the tailhook section,I didn't put it in the tailhook section itself, I put the [launch_assistance] numbers between the [tailhook] section and the [LSO] section. everything works great. also make sure your administrator setting is turned off. Hope you get it working.

ORVWRIGHT and mjrhealth. WOW! That fixed it. Now working great on both the default carrier and better yet the AI carriers. Much more realistic and flying this airplane is so engaging. A truly work of art!
