There could be several other programs running in the background that you might not be aware of besides FS9. Have you looked at your start up menu to see what is running automatically when you start you computer? Is there a possibility that an antivirus program is running scans or other jobs at the time you're flying? Have you brought up your task manager and checked the performance tab while flying to see when the big memory drain happens? Lots of stuff to look at! Good luck!

It is also possible your AI aircraft is causing a problem...a faulty texture. You can test this by turning the AI % to 0

Test these one at a time.

    Hi there,

i have done two test on it.

first i set 0% on traffic and also disable those airports. finally no problem occur.

second test is i set to 100% with disable airports, the message came out again.

so the first test seem successfull.

do u think is a traffic problem? any suggestion?

Ok so it sounds like an aircraft texture issue. The first thing to do is to establish a time and day when you will get the crash. So turn AI back to 100% and do the same thing that led to the crash. You need to be certain that you can crash the sim in order to find the problem AI a/c.

Are you in the sky or at an airport when the crash occurs?

What AI aircraft have you recently installed?

Are you using a traffic program? OR WOAI ?

or it could be that you have more than one aircraft with the same title= entry in the aircraft.cfg. this will cause OOM errors when the sim tries to use an AI plane in which 2 or more planes have that same title= entry. There is a program called Flusifix that will check for these and many other errors. you can download Flusifix from here:

    http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/

it is in german i think, but it does have an english manual and it will check all your aircraft title= entry to see if there are any duplicates. this is from the english manual:

    Title:
This part checks the labels of all existing liveries which are used by the simulator to identify them distinctly. Every label may exist only once!
If an error was detected, it must be corrected manually because FlusiFix cannot think of a new label of some sort and insert it. The tool will, however, provide you with a comprehensive error report for this check as well as for all the others. This report will be named "Fehler-Report.txt" and saved in the FS main folder.

    i using WOAI only.

i wasnt sure if u know that now AES people do repaint some truck and services vechile for specific airport. last month till now i download the texture and put into the aes texture folder. do u thing that is also cause the problem?

There are many variables. This is why you need to narrow down the cause.

This is the first time you mention AES, I doubt that is a problem if it happens when you are in the air.

    1. Establish a time and day when you will repeatedly crash the sim. Close FS9
    2. rename the texture folders from ALL the most recently added Ai aircraft... so change texture.BAW to texture.BAWbak
    3. start FS9 AT THE TIME/DAY YOU KNOW IT WILL CRASH, and see if you still crash. If you dont ....
    4. close FS9. rename half the texture folders to their original name. Test FS9 again.

You should eventually discover which texture is the problem and you can solve it by running the texture through imagetool.exe. This is a long process but is the only way you can find the problem texture.

IF you know the problem happened after installing a specific WOAI set , what was the airline/s

ImageTool is part of the FS9 Terrain SDK.

You can find a download link for the FS9 SDKs here- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555857
