Thread: How do you find new places to fly?

  1. Default How do you find new places to fly?

Lately I've been using flight aware and FS commander to see the places my ai traffic is going to and coming from, what about you?

Open up Plan-G and look for the 'wrinkly places'.

Yeah, news and current affairs, films and music.

Anything can inspire choice of aircraft and location.

Like the others, news or maybe sometimes it might be something I hear in an interview. A good news source for non-US destination ideas is the BBC.

VA Schedules and another of my favoured methods is to stick 2 pins in a map and fly between the airports closest to the pins.

A good landing is one from which you can walk away...A GREAT landing is one after which you can use the aircraft again.

I just spent the last 3 months flying and landing at every airport in Alaska. Doing the same now in Oregon. I need a life LOL.

I try to find a city where I can have a challenging landing.
