Unhappy All this time has gone by and .......

I take it that there is still no resolution to the issue of the VR Cockpit for the Project Airbus A380-800? I am aware that in FSX they have created a panel merge with an A340 aircraft which is basically the same cockpit. But I take it we still have no resolution for a FS2004 VC Cockpit for this wonderful aircraft.

Not that I am knocking the Overland/SMS A380 because many fine re-painters have done awesome representations of commercial Liveries for it. But we all agree that the PA-A380 has the better detailed model but comes up short on not having the VC Panel ! I know the subject must be driving into the ground at this point! But I haven't been around in a while and I am just wondering if they ever came up with a solution to that issue!

    Sincerely,

    Sam "Mav316" Peters

P.s.: I am still silently scorching the skies, just been really tied down with paperwork and being out in the field with my new job as a technician with "DIRECTV"! Dont have anytime to paint anymore so I guess I am retired in that dept! ! Hell I have seen some pretty good work put out there by new painters! I think it is time for me to put down the brush and get some flight time going! See yall up in the air !

You are trying to say that its a shame that the PA A380 doesnt have a panel? Thats what I understood. If yes, then you can look for addon panels.

I am using a panel for the PA A380 that has a photoreal image and 2D side panel views. But I was just wondering if they ever created a VC panel for FS2004 yet or if it was still in limbo! Thanks for the response!

If you gave a couple of monkeys a box of ballpoints, enough paper, and enough time, they'd eventually finish up writing the complete works of Shakespeare

I must be missing something because I cant get the aircraft to load in FS9! I downloaded the base pack which gave me 4 different versions of the PA A380 all with VC models and no textures. I followed the instructions on how to install textures for each aircraft type based on its engine type! I looked into the aircraft CFG's and found each OLI (flight sim line #) installed properly (with the exception to all the spaces it created) and when I start the sim I cant even Find "Project Airbus" in the list for manufacturer to locate the aircraft? What did i do wrong here?

Ok my goof, I love putting my aircrafts in categories, I didn't realize that the different model and the base aircraft was alias to another file so once I put everything unaltered I noticed that! Now I am missing some tire textures, the fan blade textures and the VC textures guess i have to find one file that has all the textures and paste them into every livery texture folder now! She is looking real good though cant wait to get airborne and bench test it Gotta put some door control panel in her though!
