PMDG 747-400 FMC issues.

I'm trying to enter a flight plan into the FMC on my PMDG 747-400, I can enter VORs etc, but not intersections. I'm using the flight plan that FSX generated for me, and every time I try to enter a waypoint I get the 'Not in database' message. I'm trying to fly from CYYZ to CYVR using IFR and jetways. The first waypoint I get is YQT93 which is my next fix after the YQT VOR (114.10). The next is DATSO after the VLN VOR (114.20). Do I have to update my database or maybe enter the waypoints in a different way?

I'm reading the PMDG manual, but I can't find a solution. I'm off to see if I can't find an enroute chart for this.
