    Question POSKY Utility Panel

Is it possible to use this in FSX? I hear that it can attach airstairs and baggage trucks to the plane and that it can also add ground clutter. I really like the sound of that. Can it work in FSX, and if so, where do I get it from?

Far out! I just went to Simviation and downloaded the POSKY 747 cargo jet with the UTILITY PANEL. Bring up the toolbar on top- go to-instrument panel-POSKY UTILITIES and up pops a panel with all sorts of door opener switches it brings over stairs and ground equipment for loading.

Now to look in aircraft.cfg file to see if it can be adapted to other planes.

    I am using vanilla FSX.

    I like chocolate myself......

If you don't mind spending a little $$$$, check out Ground Services Extreme. It does this and more at all airports and all planes, addon and default..

I like chocolate myself but I'm out of BOSCO. I tried a demo version of Ground Services from DreamTeam. It worked OK but I'm waiting till I decide on a new spring windup computer.

I now have a POSKY 747 cargo carrier and an Alaska 737. The 747 cargo has the POSKY Utilities panel to open all cargo doors and bring in stairs, and all necessary ground equipment. The 737 has all good features like windshield wipers, accurate flaps, slats, and when ATC parks you on a ramp instead of a jetway gate you can extend folding stairs to facilitate passenger exit.

These were free downloads from Simviation. Cool!

This sounds really cool. Thanks for the info, but can you actually install the panel to stuff like the POSKY 757s and A330s? They are the ones I'm interested in.
Wait, aircraft have their own folding stairs? Do they all have that in real life?? <--- Says the one who wants to be a pilot, doesn't have a clue how the passengers get off without a jetway or airstairs.

I read the install instructions in the panel folder and it said something about taking [window 08] and inserting it into the panel config file
after [window07] and I would assume that the posky panels folder should be installed also. I tried but it didn't work.
I know small private jets and turbo prop planes have a stairway that unfolds to let passengers out but never saw one on a 737!

I'm pretty sure that the Utility Panel's functions just activate those accessories that are included in the aircraft's model.
Being internal to the model itself, if the model doesn't have 'em, they won't show...Don
