OP - with proper clearance from some here on this thread, you could head over to VRS and join the fray waiting for TacPac which promises to transform FSX into a war zone. There are many ways to enjoy the sim that YOU purchased with YOUR money. Feel free to enjoy them as far as I'm concerned.
Reminds me of my friend who comes over, drinks a couple of beers, then grabs the stick from me and surfs the lakes with my Turbo Beaver amphibian. He likes to prove it can flip over, etc. But he didn't ask permission from those on this thread to misuse the sim so I will tell him next time that he'd better do so or else!

I Have Acceleration, Cause I Bought A 50 Buck Graphics Card I Added The Spitfire And P-51 (Tuskegee Airmen Style) And I Added Gun Effects And Missiles, And Bombs- Here's The The Trick , Works Great But You Have To Put It In A Saved Flight, And Multiplayer Doesn't Go With Saved Flights. But Its Good-68 Weapons.![]()

There are files right here on this website that allow you to add bomb/rocket/gunfire effects to your aircraft, although the knowledge of file configuration and editing is required. For instance the "flower-bombing" mission can be changed to have full weapon effects. Or you can add them to your aircraft if you know how to edit files. It takes a bit of patience to read and learn how to do it, but it can be done. I was one of those people who didn't like doing this, the ready-now file was always what I looked for on here. Now I look at files in the library with a different aspect, I think how different files might work on different aircraft or scenery and make some simple but cool stuff. Nothing I am ready to share with the public, but I'm just saying, look what you can do for yourself with files, and take the time to learn. I have only just begun, but with time, it will become second nature. Just a thought!
