Sorry about the misleading title on the previous thread, ignore it, it just seems none of my threads get any views, anyway. When in my (Now working, Yay!) Copy of the Wilco 737 pic, I usually do UK hops, so, I departed from leeds bradford's RWY 014 and had the NAV1 Frequency set to Manual, the frequency was 113.55 for MCT VOR/DME. Anyway, I took off, Climbed to desired altitude of 7000 Feet, switched Nav1 Freq to Ident (I think is what I'm supposed to say in aviation terminology), the HSI shot round and gave me a bearing for the VOR, But, when I enabled VOR Loc, Nothing... So, Why is this, am I dumb? has something gone right over my head that I've missed, or, can I simply not home the MCT VOR? Help!?

Just gave it a try and worked great using VOR LOC inbound MCT VOR 208 degrees. Top photo is using the FMC fix MCT 208 radial 10mi displayed in the EFSI cntrl map mode. Bottom is vor tracking mode. Did you line up the Course to alighn? Or use the needle on the DME2 and HDG on the MCT and fly HDG mode to it. If not , using VOR it will turn to a course to intercept at like a 45degree or more heading then "hunt and peck". I line up the crse direct to a VOR heading then engage the VOR LOC. Usually ATC will give a direct to VOR and not on a given radial unless procedure dictates so.

I'm just confused with the pic autopilot, it was my first proper flight...
