Delta getting 717s?

Now that the Southwest/Delta deal is closed, I was wondering what was going to happen to AirTran's current 717 pilots. Will their current pilots move over to Delta, or will Delta hire new ones?

I think they will move to Delta. It makes no sense to hire new pilots for a 717 when there are experienced pilots on this aircraft out there.

I was told by one of the 717 pilots that they aren,t being transferd with their planes.Didn,t make sense to him either...He said 3 planes a year..(Which may change)
