Thread: Missing DME indication

  1. Default Missing DME indication

    Hi all,
My FlightSim membership is just a few days old and here is my first thread.
I have been studying the rules and regulations and I have been reading some of the member's posts. One said:" There is no such thing as a stupid question". Let's see if this is true.
A couple of weeks ago I changed from FSX to X-Plane 10 simulator and I am very impressed overall. However, I cannot find the DME indication on any of the fighters (F-4, FA-22, Viggen) as well as on some airliners.
Can one of you please help me in finding the trick of having DME indications mainly for the F-4????
    Thank you, Satchmo

You're right, there's no DME indication. Just fill a bug report here if you think it's available inside the real fighters:

Even default GA planes have missing features but they'll correct this. Just read the topic here:
    http://forum.avsim.net/topic/381226-...n-x-plane-v10/

I'm always using add-on planes, where all the instruments are working.

    Happy flying.

    MdMax,
Thanks a lot for your welcome and thank you for your speedy confirmation about the DME flaw.
Yes, I'll let them know by filing a bug report. In the meanwhile shopping around for add-ons, as you suggested, is the only way to compensate. Thanks and fly safe, Satchmo
