Default Looking for general aviation VA - VATSIM optional

    Hi,

I was wondering if there are any general aviation / business jet VA's out there where VATSIM is optional. There are times where I would not be able to use VATSIM but still want to fly and pause the sim when needed. I love flying my Eaglesoft Citation X, so if there are any VA's that have that aircraft, I would love to join!

Try Southern Airlines VA. We do not require you to use VATSIM although you are free to do so. We use VAFS for your flight hours. The VA is a commercial airline, but we do permit substitute aircraft to be flown. I have occasionally flown a Beechcraft 300 on short routes which called for a Dash 8 on the route. We are undergoing continuing development with some major changes ongoing this next month. If you are serious about virtual flying and can do a couple flights a month come check us out.

    Hi Jason,

Have a look at our website. With Platinum Airways, you can fly the mission of your choice with the aircraft of your choice at the time of your choice. In addition, we have five hubs, a Destination of the Week, military, relief and cargo missions and much much more. We are an offline VA, but members may fly through VATSIM or IVAO if they want to.

Only requirements: minimum 18 years, file a first PIREP within 14 days after joining, one PIREP a month, and having fun.
