Thread: Got any ideas on this issue?

  1. Default Got any ideas on this issue?

I have a Go Flight throttle quadrant unit running on FS 9, Xp Home, 3.2, 2 gig, Radeon 1800 256 meg. I also have a yoke but throttle, flaps, and spoilers are provided by the Go Flight. The flaps handle just acts weird on FS 9. It tests and calibrates just fine under Xp, under FS 9, and under FSUIPC. So the hardware seems to be working fine. But then in FS 9, regardless of the aircraft, the flaps handle just acts crazy. If slats is selected, it goes all the way to Full. It behaves erratically. So the only way I can have reliable flaps setting is with mouse clicks on the throttle quadrant. Even more weird, I have a "golden" flight saved where everything works perfectly. If I start at this flight, everything is fine and the flaps handle works perfectly. If I launch FS2002, it works fine so the problem is FS 9 specific.
    Any ideas on this???
    Thanks

  2. Default Long hand of FSUIPC

Well, I figured it out today. It just smelled like an FSUIPC issue and it turned out that I dropped back to an earlier release of the registered FSUIPC and voila! problem gone.
