I'm about to spend $40 on REX, which is great and all, but I'd much rather be spending that money on a new simulator that could fully utilize my hardware, a new simulator for which downloading 30 addons and wrestling them into the right place would not be necessary. Don't get me wrong, the addons are great, but aside from new aircraft, I feel that I shouldn't need to keep re-painting the old rotten fence.

Keep talking about all theses problems? I dont have any problems with FSx or P3D, performance or reliability.computer items in fact, I rather enjoy installing aircraft, sound files, gauges, panels, liveries etc. Its one thing that made me despise flight, no tweaking. No need complaining. You can always keep using FLIGHT.... sugar coated and thinks for you!

Conclusion: minimum or recommended hardware requirement for FSX is an over-clocked 4.9 GHz high end CPU from 2011 like in your signature ?
