    Default Virtual Cockpits for FS9

I know it's probably been asked and answered a million times, but I can't seem to find the answers.

Is it possible to "graft" a VC from one aircraft that has one into another aircraft that doesn't? I love FS9 and I'm learning by trial and error to modify panels, paint aircraft, etc. I have a number of planes (mostly Boeing 737s) that don't have a VC which is really a drag since the textures won't work with those that have VCs. Can it be done or is the VC somehow linked to the MODEL?

I love to tinker with panels changing instruments, locations and the like to make the 2D panel more like the VC in every detail and to add little tweaks, bells and whistles. I've also been able to make some minor modifications in VCs as well. It's an aspect of FS9 that I enjoy almost as much as flying.

Hope somebody can help me out on this one. I'd hate to think that my favorite liveries will go without VCs.

    Cheers, and thanks

No, not in FS9 because the VC is a part of the model as you thought.
    Thanks,

That in a nutshell is one of the major advantages of FSX; the ability to mix-and-match the interior (VC) model to any exterior model...

...since they are two entirely separate .mdl files!
