Thread: ROC (Rate of Climb) for Dreamfleet 727

  1. Default ROC (Rate of Climb) for Dreamfleet 727

Egads, I can't go through 50+ threads to find the remedy! I've tried to reset the Configuration Manager as well as restart the computer but have had no success. I keep losing the ROC and of course need it. Any help out there? If so, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks.

Would help if you give an example, but in the climb phase you should look to maintain 300-320 KIAS, and switch to MACH when you reach 0.78-0.80. You will need to adjust the power setting during the climb, refer to the power settings in the manual, or use max power (without going into red/amber zones on the power gauges).

Your ROC will decrease the higher you get. If however you reach a point when the a/c will not climb anymore you should check the weight/altitude tables to make sure you are not overweight for the altitude you are trying to reach.
