Thread: ATC Voices

  1. Default ATC Voices

We all are familiar with those bland voices that Microsoft put in the FSX, FS2004 and FS2002. And I suppose that there is no way to change there sound, but I must ask, is there any add-on package that will change the voices of the ATC to give a more realistic presentation for FSX?

    Payware would be Radar Contact.

Free would be Edit Voice Pack which can help.
    Thanks,

    Jim

You could use your own voice, if your willing to record about 10,000 .wav files.

No, it's 30,000 and then edit each for flags and markers.
    Thanks,

Wanna hear more voices? Download and install AI Smooth. It helps to keep AI traffic away from you and helps eliminate go-arounds.

So how does AI Smooth change the voices in FS again?
    Thanks,

No changes to the voice but it adds more voices to cope with unless you run it with the AI smoothing atc off.

Ah, so you are counting the MS Speech robot voice that AI Smooth can add as voices!

Well, those get totally annoying after about 30 seconds!!

If you haven't already tried it, I would still suggest Edit Voice Pack. Speeds up the voices, adds a huge number of call signs, and adds a few phrases to ATC.
    Thanks,

    Jim
