Yes, through Windows there is, but I can't quite look it up for you right now. Keep in mind that all borders will then be black. A Google search will turn up more if yo would like to know more, right away.
    Thanks,

Jim...everything i get from google...just not right. i fooled with the personalizing...but when i change all the border colors of the basic setting it just saves as a new theme...not really changing the default. maybe im going about this wrong. im just trying to cleanup my setup.....the title boxes around the instruments never botherd me until now....can only mean everythings running too well and somethings about to break. if you come across what you were thinking about before i would appreciate it. take care.

In order to change the border color and the Active/Inactive window colors and so forth, I do believe you have to change to the Windows Classic format. I don't believe that you can do it if you are NOT willing to do that.

You can use custom Window colors in Win7.

Right-click on the desktop and select "Personalize".

On the bottom of the "Personalization" page select "Window color".

There you can modify the Window color and keep Aero.

Go to GOOGLE and type in (use apostrophe):'Change Windows XP (or Vista or 7) Window Border Color'. You'll get hits.

Or you could do the ghetto method and just adjust the size of your screen to stretch beyond the borders of your monitor...
