Could anyone please tell how to stop entering my time zone each time I start FSX, I have selected 'reset' in the time zone window and then saved it, but as I have said it reverts back to another time zone.

Have you made sure the GMT time difference is correct to your particular time zone? My timezone is Pacific which means GMT is +8 hours.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt and maybe some pepper! There's no such thing as too much garlic!
In all my years of testing and using FSX it has never asked me for my time zone.
Do you have FSX set up to Use System Time?
I'm not sure what you mean by "Entering my timezone..." Do you mean when you launch FSX the time displayed on that flight showing in the window is incorrect with your clock on the wall? What airport is the starting flight located at? Are you using the "Start with System Time and Date" setting switched on?

Make sure to have "use system time" checked in the settings area. I think it's checked as a default so I never bothered to think about that setting in my original answer. -1 brownie point for me!
