    Try Sion, Switzerland.

Take off and fly southwest between the mountains then make a right and fly north through the valley. That leads to Lake Geneva.

Nice and scenic with an element of danger too…

South Island New Zealand - a great flight in a small plane is NZQN-NZMF - come in from the ocean over the sound to land at Milford Sound.

Try Bhutan, Naples near Mt.Everest and to add to the joy fly out of VQPR Paro Intl Airport (the Thai Creation Scenery) and fly around the place and come back to the airport on its bizarre Approach inside the mountain caverns!

Or if you need less of a challenge head over to Switzerland and fly out LOWI-Innsbruck Intl Airport and enjoy that mountain scenery from the VC panel of your aircraft !

defintitely SE Alaska and W. British Columbia; Glacier Bay Freeware along with Tongass Fiords and Misty Moorings payware. Endless mountains, lakes, fiords, braided rivers. Great place to fly funky planes in marginal weather.

Agree on the alps, in particular as good mesh is available.
Try Alps 19m mesh by Alain Ragot at c30s.alpes.gratisim.fr (East, Center, West).
For improved landclass in the french part try Arnaud Clere's france landclass (french only I believe, sorry).

Suggestion for GA scenic flights: Luzerne or Zurich - (Bernese oberland massif) - Sion LSGS - (Mont Blanc massif) - Le Versoud LFLG or Courchevel LFLJ - (Ecrins massif) - St Crepin LFNC, hugging the alp's greatest mountains.

Some other destinations that immediately come to mind have been brought up also.
Experience largely depends on how good the mesh is.

Hawaii has nice mountains (volcanoes). Thats my favorite place in FS. I can also recommend Mexico, its center has many mountains. We cant also forget about Mt Everest, the highest point in the world (in FS too). I cant imagine landing on it (with any plane or helicopter) without cheating. Have a nice exploration!

search this file in the library: bgdlinzh.zip. that is airport code ZUNZ in Tibet, at almost 10k feet elevation, surrounded by mountains almost 20k feet that are very close to the runway. Interesting flying there

I love doing the SKMD-SKMZ-SKPE run, mountains everywhere. Of course, a good Colombian mesh is required (or a world one). Also, entering SEQU is a tough one.

    Best regards from Colombia,
