F-15 F-16 afterburner

Hi everyone. I have the IRIS freeware F-15C/D and it's a great model, but the afterburners don't work. I also have Kirk Olsen's F-16, and once again, a great model but no AB. I have the effects folder for both in the Effects folder, but it doesn't work. Thanks to all who can help.

Can I assume you are running FSX with acceleration? Are you at full power and hitting shift F-4 and maybe i for smoke? I tried to get afterburners to work in FSX without acceleration and it don't happen! Maybe spray some lighter fluid on your screen and strike a match! (JUST KIDDING!!!)

I actually read that post before I posted my own. That obviously didn't work out though. If you could download it and help to solve the problem, I will give you an internet cookie. To help you out heres the link for the download

OK, I downloaded and installed it. It works for me without any tweaks necessary.

Here's my method:
Note: I did not allow overwrite of any file.
Unzipped to desktop.
I copied the contents of IRIS_F-15_Eagle_Classic_FSX/Effects/Texture to FSX/Effects/Texture.
I did the same for the Effects themselves(IRIS_F-15_Eagle_Classic_FSX/Effects to FSX/Effects).
I cut "IRIS F-15 Eagle" from IRIS_F-15_Eagle_Classic_FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes, and pasted it into FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes.
I removed the "F15_Gauges.CAB" from the panel folder and placed it in FSX/Gauges, ignoring the one in the included Gauges folder.

The IRIS Classics folder only contained the paint kit, so it was ignored also.

If that method does't work for you, then it is quite possible your download may be corrupt. Remove it all, and try a fresh one...Don

Well, thanks for the help fsxttcb, but that didn't work. It's not a big problem, just me being picky is all.
