Alrighty, so it's been a while since I've posted on here...and for somewhat good reason. About a month ago, my trusty computer gave up the ghost (at least, that's what the Geek Squad told me haha). Lots of hair-pulling and teeth-grinding later, I saddled up with a brand new setup, and I've gotta say, I'm pretty impressed so far! Of course, that necessitated a clean re-install of FS9, and silly me since I didn't have a whole lot of stuff backed up, it's been TORTURE trying to play catch-up with all my sceneries (both freeware and payware), aircraft, and of course, AI traffic.
It's going to be a loooong road ahead, but I thought I'd share a few from my first "real" flight since the re-install. Best thing is, my framerates have improved DRAMATICALLY, along with sliders being set to relatively high (something I couldn't have dreamed of with the old rig).
Ok, enough with the backstory, please enjoy!
Leaving PHL:
AAL to DFW (I'm assuming lol):
SWA to Tampa:
...and me to ORD!
Turning finals to rwy10:
As you can see, progress on restoring my AI is steady, albeit slooooow:
Whooah, big fella
Passing a gaggle of regionals...
And finally at the gate - ontime, no less
Sceneries: FSDT KORD, SunSkyJet KPHL, updated sky and cloud textures by Pablo Diaz, default everywhere else
Aircraft: Project Airbus A320 v2.1 (paint by Nicholas Chung Wing Chong)
Cheers,
George
