Default static aircraft at RAF Lyneham

    Hi,
I have got the Just flight/Captsim C-130 which comes with scenery for RAF Lyneham, what I would like to do is remove the static aircraft so I have got more room for my AI traffic.Thing is,I don't know how to do it.

Any help would be just great.

    Many thanks,
    Phil J.

I don't know for sure, but can't you choose that when installing?
Else, you can try to search in the "Addon Scenery\RAF Lyneham\scenery" (Or similar to RAF Lyneham) and search for a file with the word "static" in its name. Rename that and check your scenery again.

Many thanks, the thing is I don't know where the file is, the install was all part of the C-130 ( boxed ) I have looked in the addon scenery file plus Captsim and Just Flight, It has to be somewhere as it shows up in my sim.
    Thanks for your help,

    Kind regards,

Does it show up as an entry in the Scenery Library?

If so, the path to the folder containing the files will be called out in the scenery.cfg.

Good news and bad news. If the scenery installs as a single bgl file then you are almost certainly out of luck, because everything will be there in that one file. On the other hand, if there are multiple files, and the names don't give you a clue, then you can move them to your desktop or elsewhere one at a time and see what disapperas.

    Should be -
In fs9 main folder is a "scenery" folder, go in there and you will see a "Justflight" folder, go in there and you will see a "C130egdl" folder . . . .

    Guess what . . . . .

    Yep, go in there!

Inside the "scenery" folder within, you will find "egdlaircraft.bgl" file. Either move somewhere else, or rename the ".bgl" part to something like "XXXX" and you should find that Lyneham is now quite barren, with loads of parking available!
To re-instate the statics, just find that file again, and rename the "XXX"s to ".bgl" again.
