    Default Bitmap ID question

    Hello Simmers,
How do I tell what type of bitmap an aircraft has?Is there a utility out there that will tell me if it's a 32 bit or whatever?I'm doing some panel work on FS2004 models and I can't tell why some bitmaps show up in FSX SP2,some are black and others don't show up at all.I have DXTBitmap but can't find if it will identify them.I found a utility called DXTViewer but installing it wasn't worth it with all the toolbars and other commercial crap it wanted to load AND my security informed me it had malware in it.Is it even the right software to answer my needs?Thanx in advance.

DXTBmp will tell you which bmp format a texture is, when you open a texture look above the toolbar, if your not sure, just save it as an Extended 32 bit 888-8 texture or whatever format you want it.
