Thread: PC For FSX?

  1. Default PC For FSX?

Hi guys I hope I'm on the correct forum! I'm just into FSX and am now in the market for a PC that I can buy off the shelf and that will run FSX well. I've been looking at a gaming PC by a company called Wire To Fire http://www.wired2fire.co.uk/ccc.php?systype=14 and the PC I was looking at is there SimX 1000 which it states is specifically designed for FSX.

Does anyone currently have one of these and can offer feedback in relation to there performance before I spend my money.

    Many thanks in advance.

hi. my personal experience is fsx, acceleration and free planes run just fine on a dual core laptop with 4 gigs of ram. but heavier add-ons, both aircraft and scenery, run better on an i7 with 8 gigs of ram, 1 gb video card and at least 1 tb of hard disc. rise of flight definitely wants an i7.
