    Default FS9 Install Win7 (Falcon 50)

Since installing the FFJ 50 by Yannick Lavigne in Win7 , the undercarriage in the external view does not show. A/C functioned normally in WinXP. Sure would like to retain this classic. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Make sure video drivers are up to date. Win 7 shouldn't mess with anything in FS9.
    Thanks,

    Jim

Sorry to hear of the problem C.R.

Being that I just started migrating back to FS9 a little bit since installing Win 7, I thought it might be prudent for me to check my Falcon 50. Everything is there and it looks great in FS9. For what it is worth it looks great in FSX as well, but unfortunately the integral panel will not work in FSX. I chose to use a modified third party 727 panel in FSX (for those three engines).

If you have not already done so, you might want to play around with your display settings. A higher setting or two might make your under carriage show up.

    Good luck:

Edit: Immediately after posting this, a light went on in this old memory. A new FSX panel became available for the Falcon 50 a few months ago and I downloaded and installed it, negating the modified 727 display I mentioned above.

The original Falcon 50 was developed for FS2002. It requires an update to work properly in FS9(2004).

I "borrowed" this from jgf in another thread:

Are you using the same aircraft you had previously or did you download it again? A quick search disclosed that this aircraft was originally developed for FS2000, updated by Mr. Lavigne for FS2002, later updated for FS2004 by Eric Dantès, with further mods by Martyn Becker. Issues with the overhead gauge seem to stem from using the FS2002 version in FS2004; here is the FS2004 version -
