You load a flight, shoot down everything, and save it as default. Thats how it works![]()
What you are looking for is call a "cold-dark start" If you notice in your FREE FLIGHT you have a default flight for Friday Harbor. If this is chosen you are flying an ultralite at Friday Harbor. Choose an aircraft-choose your destinations- choose your parking spot at the start either a gate or parking area and do the "FLY NOW'. It will start with engines running. Now shut down your engines and lights and you should set your parking brake. Now hit ; which will save this flight and call it your default flight. Now every time you start a free flight you will be in the cold-dark start up mode. Enjoy!
I guess Adam24 types faster than I can!

Take everything I say with a grain of salt and maybe some pepper! There's no such thing as too much garlic!
engines can be turned by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + F1 all together, i dno bout the systems, sorry
Calling it the default flight is not enough. You need to check the box titled Make Default Flight.
Check your control buttons. One will be called engine shutdown and might need to be assigned to a keyboard or joystick button. I use Shift spacebar.
Thanks, Jim! Yeah check the box calling it "make default flight"
