If you want some help you need to tell us exactly what is the filename of the download(s) you are having problems with and where you downloaded them from.

Without specific info all we can do is guess.

That would be a waste of our time and yours.

    1. The files are Hauke keitl's JU-90 and hauke keitl's FW-200. Both were downloaded from the library here. There are thumbnails in the files.

A search in the library for "keitl"came back with "no files found", which is why I asked you for the exact filenames. I don't mind helping, but would rather spend my time doing other things than running fruitless searches.

I did find ju90.zip and fw200fs9.zip in the library, both by Hauke Keitel, so hopefully these are the correct files.

These are both FS9 planes so it is not out of the ordinary for them to not work 100% correct in FS9.

I did install them in FSX and they show up fine for me...

The files I have do not have thumbnail.jpg files in the texture folders and that is why you see the generic picture.

When installing these planes make sure you are copying the correct folders into ...\FSX\Simobjects\airplanes.

Both of the downloads I looked at had extra folder layers and if you copy the wrong one, FSX will not find the planes.

Other than that, they seem to work fine in FSX and I might spend some time with them, if I could read German.
