Seems like some good stuff does any of those things have a lot of effect on FPS.

Wouldn't do ya any good unless you have the same exact add-ons and the same exact system specs. If there was just one "correct" cfg than we wouldnt see tons of tutorials with lots of reading , we'd just have a replacement file.

Laptop... ya, you're limited there, my bad, missed that part. But also, even the best computers can't do FSX at full max everything, it's fsx that usually craps on itself when you ask too much, despite thousands of dollars in hardware.

If you get good addon scenery and aircraft....I think you might like it better, you will get good FPS with your set-up

i "personally" think you have a good Laptop to run FSX, unless you are very picky about frame rate.
    why not buy PC ?
    FSX ACCELERATION, ASUS P5QPL VM-INTEL E5400-2.7GHZ-DDR2RAM4GO-WINDOWSXPSP3 -GT220GEFORCE
if you never ask nothing, its because you know everything....
