I was wondering if the pmdg ngx was a relatively painless bird to start learning to do cold and dark startups with?

Tutorial #2 of the flight manuals lets you do a full cold and dark startup. Once you've done a few C&Ds and get the hang of it, it will become easy and you'll have the plane powered and ready for engine start in a few minutes.
