Thread: Headset comparison - Creative, Logitech, Microsoft, Plantronics, Tt eSports

Default Headset comparison - Creative, Logitech, Microsoft, Plantronics, Tt eSports

I am about to purchase a headset to replace a cheap one I am currently using and want to ensure that I purchase one which covers the ears, is comfortable (does not cause my ears to hurt from the pressure after prolonged use) and a sensitive microphone (I have to almost shout into the one I have).

Is there a web site or similar which does an honest comparison.
I have been looking at Creative, Logitech, Microsoft, Plantronics and Tt eSports and have found some user reports on each one and have put the Plantronics at the bottom of the list as users have reports that the speakers tend to break down after about a year of use and Tt eSports don't produce a good sound from the microphone.

I don't want to spend more than $100

If anyone reading this has any of the above headsets and LOVE them or have had problems please reply.

Check out turtle beach headsets on their site. They have quite a variety, and all are reasonabily priced. I have been using them for years. I have a set of wireless ones. Very nice, and they are rechargable. Hope this helps.

Try the Turtle beach X12's. I have those and they work great. They ar earound 79-89 bucks depending on where you look. Highly recommend. They are headset/mic combo. Great bass and easy volume control for both the mic and the earset. Very comfortable for long term use as well.
