Well, that Quadro FX 4000 is based on a older GPU design and only has 256 of Nvidia's CUDA cores. The latest GeForce GTX 680 has 1536 CUDA cores. I'd be a little surprised if the Quadro 4000 performed better at OpenGL. Also keep in mind that once you start going beyond a GeForce GTS 250, you are quickly getting into the region of greatly diminishing returns as far as FSX is concerned. It never fully made of modern GPUs when it came out and throwing the latest and greatest at it isn't going to change anything.

I have a decent windows 7 computer and with many downloaded aircraft and high resolutions, it works quite well.

Wow --- this is kind of surprising. Making me wonder if I should go to another card, and skip out the Quadro all together. If I have to, if worse comes to worse, I'm keeping my dell on my network, so I can always swap out my Quadro for my MSI card.

Hoping not, but we'll see. I'll keep you all posted.....
