    Default Need Air Hose.

    Where's the air hose ?

    Have a few Cessna 172 Skyhawks and all have nose troubles..er.. nose tire flats,air hose at fuel pumps not working.

    Seriously though is there a fix for this ? I've looked through the "Aircraft cfg. files" for the C172 and was looking more at Contact_points but really did not understand so I left well enough alone.

    I would like to air up the nose tires.

    It is the contact points that need to be adjusted but I'm not familiar enough with them to offer the fix,there are several members here that can help though,just keep an eye on your thread!

  3. Default

    It should be the first point.X (point.0) and the number you want to change is the fourth number after the '='.

    For example:
    point.0=1, 40.00, 0.00, -8.40, 1181.1, 0, 1.442, 55.92, 0.6, 2.5, 0.9, 4.0, 4.0, 0, 220.0, 250.0

    Judging from your pic, I would decrease the numnber by about 0.20 to 0.25. Remember, the number is a negative number, so be sure to decrease it properly.

    OK that works.

    Original points ( first one ) for the 172: point.0 = 1, 0.90, 0.00, -4.09, 1500, 0, 0.5, 22.0, 0.25,2.5, 0.7, 0.0, 0.0, 0

    I changed the forth number -4.09 to -4.20 and got this:

    Before a couple trial and errors one was when I put to much air in the tire.

    Thanks tvieno.
