After downloading FS Global 2010, I am unable to access FS9. I get the following message: "Your current FSUIPC build , 9.01.40901, is not compatible w/ your current version of FS9. You need build 9.00.30612." Any takers on this one? Thanx!

Hello,
FSGlobal had nothing to do with FSUIPCAfter downloading FS Global 2010
So it must be another problem
Are you sure you use the right FSUIPC sim version ?
Seem's you use the one for FSX !

If you gave a couple of monkeys a box of ballpoints, enough paper, and enough time, they'd eventually finish up writing the complete works of Shakespeare
FSUIPC major versions are 3. and 4.
Your current FSUIPC build , 9.01.40901 is your FS9 build with a typo. 9.1.0.40901 is the 9.1 patch build. 9.0.0.30612 is the FS9 build without the 9.1 service pack.
I have FS Global 2008. It does not modify any .exe files. All it installs is scenery (terrain and land class I believe) and can modify your fs9.cfg [scenery] and [terrain] sections and scenery.cfg to get its files in your scenery library at your option.
I suggest you check your FS paths in the registry by using the free registry checker tool from flight1:
http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library
and if on VISTA or Win 7 right click on that .exe and select run as admin.
http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ are the most updated versions of FSUIPC available.
Did you install FSG2010 for the correct version of FS? It has two sets of files, one for FS9 and one for FSX.
