Thread: Engine Assignment on Cyborg FLY 5 joystick.

  1. Default Engine Assignment on Cyborg FLY 5 joystick.

    I have got a Cyborg FLY 5 joystick and I have worked out how to assign engine1 to the Z axis and engine2 to the Slider but if I use a 747 it will activate engine 1+2 on that. Is there any way I can assign engine 1 and 2 to the Z axis and engine 3 and 4 to the slider.

    Hi,

    There might be if you do not mind to spend some money on the FSUIPC (great enhancement tool for FSX from Pete Dawson). I believe it allows the programming of any joystick (axis and button assignment) to your specific needs. I used it to bind all four engines to the throttle axis I have on my Saitek X52 Hotas.
    The more advanced with this tool may comment further on how exactly set the axis for your case.

    Best Regards
    Frank

    Menu/Options/Settings/Controls -> Control Axes tab.
    Assign the first control axis to "Engine 1 throttle axis" and the other to "Engine 2 throttle axis"...Don
