My Scenery is flickering! And my freeware aircraft are gray clay models.

At almost every airport the lines on the tarmac and sometimes the tarmac itself is just flickering. This happened after i downloaded the acceleration pack, FSUIPC, the updated C++ software from microsoft and MD 81/82 jetliner. I think it may have something to do with DX10 maybe I installed that with that stuff accidentally or it came with that stuff in the install. Anyway I don't know how to disable DX10. If it makes a difference I have 3 C++ software 2008 that are 1.70 MB of the 9.0.21022 version which I think is most recent and one 788KB and one 600KB for version 9.0.30729.6161 version and one 300KB of the 2005 one version 8.0.61001. Please help me it's driving me nuts!

Try either Google search or use the search of different forums on this site. I found this earlier post on your subject.

Under your settings click "Customize" and uncheck "Preview DX10" and it should say that some of your changes require a restart of FSX, so restart FSX and voila you have turned off DX10 :P.
