As you will remember last week ended in a big blowout. So here we are returning from the aircraft carrier to Libraville airport.


No dont worry we are not going to overshoot the runway, this is a sort of whacky blatter remember.

We came back to Libraville for an advertising campaighn photo shoot, we had some of our glamerous... erm coff coff... and not so glamerous aircrews in the Peerhoven uniforms wish we could do without the pilot though... sigh!


Message from tower is that an OLM deligation wishes to land and chat, they promise they are unarmed and have something they think will interest us. We grant permission and German pilot our hero of last week is dispatched to fly top cover in his brand new Starfighter


See it even shows two kills and the Order of the Camembert on the side.

German Pilot is also instructed that when the bunch are sfely down he needs to fly to Kinshasa and fetch Jans glasses as Jan left them there by accident.


Aah here come our guests now...


A very very short landing...


A large group dissembark and walk toward the terminal.


As ussual we offer them the finest Peerhoven hospitality...


No they say they would prefer wine and salids? Anyway, introductions are made and explinations given, it seemsToto Ignorente, the leader of the OLM has a reech brother named Massivo Ignorente and they talk funny too. "Ju see my bruzzer is ze verry reech and has choint my noble cause zet is vaai ve cen now cerry on ze vor!" The long and short of it is that the entire rank namely a Sudanees chap General Fayleyah, the Russian Major Buggurup and a Greek chap Captain Kayos are here to give us a challange, namely that the three of them wish to take three of us on in one on one duels. If they win they get to take all our beer and cheese thus rendering the annual rally a total flop, if they loose (which they are sure they wont) the rally will be allowed to continue unmollested.


The group including Massivo's henchmen Excreeta Kranium and Tom Foolery decide to join us in a main course provided by that lovely lass Barbie Que, meanwile Jan is thinking... think think think... and suddenly shouts out DONE! I like your ideas chaps we will do it now to the details...

Part 3


Before they leave the details are spelled out The three mentioned earlier will meet German Pilot, Bob Azzaro (His ace still has them smarting) and myself who they point out hasnt flown a combat mission for over a year now and must therefore be rusty there will be three categiries firstly a WW1 aircraft duel in three days time, a WW2 prop aircraft duel two days latter and finaly an early jet challange two days after that. All duels will be faught in the vecinity of this airport, and best of three wins. Once egreement is reached the bunch once again board the helicopter and take off.


As they turn for thier destination they say omminously over the radio, "We got a parting gift for you... and remember you dont show means we win by default!"


No sooner is the mesage delivered then over the trees pops a Mig...


Several rockets are dispatched tearing up the runway and rendering it unusable!


As he flies away we all look at each other in shock! Does this mean they win before we even get started? How are we going to use this runway? It will take weeks to repair. Tune in next week to see if all is lost...
