Custom AI Traffic Not Showing Up

Hey guys, I have a problem that I hope can be quickly resolved....

Here it is: Since WOAI doesn't currently have a Delta Connection package, and airports seem emptier without it, I decided to manually install Delta Connection to my FSX. I thought I installed it correctly, but when I start my FS it's not showing up. Here's what I did: I got the traffic file and used AIFP to compile it. I got texture files online and applied them to each model in the traffic file. When I finished, I thought I needed the base models and thought I had to change the aircraft.cfg files. But I looked in my SimObjects/Airplanes folder and saw that AIFP had already sort of done that with my existing WOAI ones. Basically, it took the WOAI base models and added Delta Connection to the appropriate ones and changed the existing aircraft.cfg files.

So I asssumed it was fine (and it looked fine) but when I started FSX and went to Atlanta, there were no Delta Connection AI planes.... I don't get it because it looks the same as my WOAI packages, which all work: there's a base model, textures, aircraft.cfg file, and the traffic file all seemingly in the right place. But it's not showing up.

I hope this makes sense and somebody can help me

Did you convert all your WoAI traffic files to FSX format?

It sounds like you have added an FSX format traffic file for Delta Connection.

If you have both FS2004 format traffic files (those created by Traffic Tools) and FSX format traffic files - only the FS2004 traffic files will display.

AIFP can convert FS2004 traffic files to FSX format, or if you wish - compile the new traffic file in FS2004 format.

So you're saying all I have to do is change the format of my Delta Connection traffic file and it should work? I was doing everything else right?

Convert the plan to FSX format and it will then be used.

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I see the button that says "convert traffic file to FSX format", so how would I go the other way and convert an FSX traffic file to FS2004 format?

Not 100% sure, but I don't think any conversion would be necessary to go from FSX to FS2004.

Okay, thanks. I was just wondering because I thought I had already converted my other WOAI files to FSX format so I didn't understand why my Delta Connection traffic file wasn't working.

Well guys, somehow I fixed my problem....On my traffic file in AIFP, I hit FS9 as my "target version" and compiled it again. Do you think that had anything to do with it? I also fixed a duplicate name I had in one of the aircraft.cfg files - maybe that was it, I don't know....

Hey guys, just one last question about my custom AI traffic.

Why are some of them showing up black? I understand it has something to do with textures, but a lack of textures for the aircraft wouldn't make sense because I downloaded and installed them correctly I believe, because at least the plane is showing up

. If anybody knows why, any help would be greatly appreciated.
