Thread: VASI Lighting

    Default VASI Lighting

    The VASI on my display appear like semi-tansparent beach balls. FS9 Cfg. had a lighting section that one could manipulate to adjust the intensity. I have been unable to find a similar capability in the FSX Cfg. Any suggestions would welcomed.

    In FSX.CFG add following entries (in the [DISPLAY] section), and do some trail/error with the values.

    RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.9
    RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.7
    RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.9
    RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.9

    Hi,

    They are not there by default, but you have to add them, just as you did with FS2004!!
    Thanks,
