Default Aircraft downloading problem for FSX

    Hello,
I'm new, and I've just dowloaded my firt aircraft on flightsim.com. I've extracted the files and pasted them in the "Airplanes" container of FSX. But when I start the game, there's no way to find my new aircraft in the selection. I tried with another plane, but it's the same: they're not in the game.
Help me please, what should I do?

    Thanks,

    Ranma83

    Which aircraft did you download?

Try comparing your new aircraft folder to some of the ones you have that are working. Make sure the new folder contains the same type of things like an aircraft.cfg file, sounds, panels, thumbnails and also make sure to look in each subfolder and see that there is info in each.
Sorry I don't have a program to convert a screenshot (Rich Text) to a Jpeg image.

Emachines T3418 AMD 3400+ processor 2GHZ/256KB L2 Cashe 2Gig Ram 160Gig HDD NVidia GEForce 6100 GPU Running WinXP Home Can't believe it still works! Running FSX Standard with SP1 and SP2

Take everything I say with a grain of salt and maybe some pepper! There's no such thing as too much garlic!

    Ranma,
Is it a complete aircraft or is it just a livery? Please state the aircraft concerned (the filename in Flightsim.com), I can download it and inspect.

It is probably a repaint. Use the advanced search and select "Complete aircraft with model, panel, sound".

ok, I'll try with advenced search, and I'll look to the other files. The Airplanes are "RAF Concorde"; "ATR 72 Air France" and Dassault Rafale Grey camo". There wasn't any indication about if it was airplane, texture or panel or anything, so I don't no if they are the good downloads.
    Thanks for your help.

I've found with advenced search, the ones I had downloaded aren't there ^^. And downloading time is really longer with complete airplane...
    Thanks again.

PS: excuse me if I make mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker...

It always take long with a complete aircraft.

Had one that took 30 minutes once!

I can't understand. I took the complete planes but no one works?
When the download is finished, I extract the files in:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes

Is it wrong? Where is the problem?
