Thread: Cheap throttle quadrant!

  1. Post Cheap throttle quadrant!

I am just an average flight simmer looking for a cheap throttle quadrant. I was looking for a new basic throttle quadrant, or a more advanced second hand throttle quadrant. I was hoping under $600, i know there is not much out there but you guys probably know more than I do.

Thanks for you help in advance

    Hi Dan,

are you looking for any aircraft-specific throttle quadrant or a generic one?If you are looking for a generic one you should
have no problems finding one for under 600$.
The CH Products throttle quadrant is available new for around a 100$ at amazon for example:
    http://www.amazon.com/CH-PRODUCTS-Th...9671113&sr=1-8

Or the Saitek throttle quadrant (3engines/levers) is available at around 50$.

There are both quite good, if you are looking for a throttle for twin jets, I read somewhere that there are now replacements levers
available for the CH product quadrant, which change the four levers into 2 larger thrust levers, appproximately the same size
    as in the real aircraft.

If you are looking for aircraft specific quadrant, like a 737 throttle , thats more expensive I think and I don't know whether 600$ will be
    enough then.

Hope I could help you a bit, if you have further questions do not hesitate to ask please,

    best regards

    Oliver

You can come over to my site at fsthrottles.com and take a look. We're also releasing a very inexpensive 737 type throttle in the next few days for under $200.....dual axis and four assignable toggle switches.

Do keep in mind that we'll be releasing the sub $200 quadrant in about three to four days........it's pretty basic, but delivers plenty in look and feel.
