Thread: MS Flight on XBox

    Default MS Flight on XBox

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Microsoft Flight can be played on the XBox.
Trying to get my son interested in flight-simming, I suggested he download this for his XBox.
Doesn't seem to be available though.
Is the program for PC only, in spite of being on an XBox gaming site?

Yes, it is PC only. You can see the system requirements here:

Microsoft is slowly merging their various Live accounts, including Xbox, Hotmail and others into one Microsoft account. So at the moment much of their gaming content is run through the Xbox Live site, even if it's a Games for Windows Live title.

There is also Microsoft Flight Simulator X which is more into the simulator of aircraft. In my opinion MS Flight is more of a game. If you want him to be into the real Aviation, then look up for EAA's Young Eagles program. That has got me into aviation, and i'm currently pursuring flight lessons

They've dropped a few hints that it would be going to other platforms, but not at the present time. Doubt any of the other 3rd party developers would appreciate a free game cutting into their sales

That's funny. I sold a few Durango's in my 10 day tenure at a Chevy dealership.

Durango would make a good nickname for little cowboys that don't eat their veggies.
